Tuition & Fees

Tuition and Registration Rates

The use of FACTS for payments is required for all GBA students. Deductions from a checking or savings account may be scheduled on either the 5th or last day of each month depending on date of enrollment. There is a $50 yearly fee. NSF fee for returned checks is $30.00. Prompt payment of tuition is vital to the operation of the school. GBA reserves the right to prohibit a student from attending school for past due accounts.

3 WAY PLAN

3-WAY MATCHING FUND

The Southern New England Conference (SNEC) in partnership with the school and the local church, has made provision to grant student aid funds to all qualified Pre K-8 students attending SNEC Elementary Schools and Academies. This process begins with a parent making application with their local church. Once approved at the church level, SNEC and the school will contribute their portion of the funds to the respective student account. These scholarship funds are paid twice each year, toward the end of each semester (during the months of November and April). Upon receiving these funds, the business office will credit its portion of student aid to the student’s account. The application deadline is October 31.

FACTS Program

After School Care (ASC) Program

Philosophy

The After School Care Program at Greater Boston Academy is designed to meet the needs of students while their parents are at work and involved in other activities. It is our goal to provide your child with a safe and comfortable environment to do some homework and unwind and exercise at the end of the school day.

Eligibility

All Greater Boston Academy students are eligible to participate in the program.

Hours

We are open during the following hours during regular school day:

     Monday-Thursday 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm
Friday 12:45 pm to 4:00 pm

Parents/guardians will be informed of opening hours on the days of early dismissal for professional development and other scheduled programs two days prior to the event.

Financial Information

It is crucial that all ASC fees are paid promptly to ensure that this program doesn’t financially detract from the regular educational program. The parents/guardians may pay monthly or weekly for the pre-scheduled services.

Emergency Care

Elementary students in the school building must be supervised at all times. A reasonable 15-minute time frame is provided for families to pickup students following dismissal. To efficiently supervise any remaining students, these students are then moved to the EdgeCenter After School Care Program room. Students are signed in and retained until they are picked up by an authorized individual. Please note that a fee of $7.00 per hour will be charged for this service if not pre-scheduled/pre-paid.

Termination

The student may be terminated from the program if it is determined that the health and safety of the student (or the other students) at the center cannot be assured. Parents/Guardians will be notified at a meeting with the Principal or Vice Principal and Program Director. The student will have to be picked up during dismissal period.

Rates and Fees

Greater Boston Academy offers an after-school program for those families who are unable to pick-up their children during the school’s dismissal time. The attached document gives the details and cost of the program.
